- Meetings are opened by calling the meeting to order.
- Students are always present at the SGA meetings.
- Sponsors are always present at the SGA meetings.
- Sponsors interject their thoughts whenever they feel it is necessary or
helpful.
- The SGA members run the meeting.
- The SGA functions for business or governmental purposes only.
- Discussion takes place between SGA members and a facilitator.
- The president is usually the facilitator of discussions.
- Motions are made by members and discussion and a vote by the entire group
follows.
- There is no opposition to motions that are voted on.
- SGA plans events and services on and off campus.
- Discussions are broken down into new business and old business.
A second observation will be done to check the validity of these
commonalities found in the first observation.
