Chapter 2 Review of Lit. About 20 pages (most important thing is to exhaust the lit.)
Write in past-tense
Few quotations
Avoid pronouns
No conjunctions!
Never use same word on same page.
Know how to use headings (use them when you make a major switch in topic every time)
Plagiarism
Use summary
Tables and figures - Follow APA!
Get narrative as close to table as possible!
don't describe in narrative what is already said in the table (in text, highlight the important highlights of the table)!
Don't let length (or lack of length) drive your chapter!
Chapter 3 Methodology -- Starts off with problem statement (same statement EXACTLY)
Design of the study (experimental., quasi, qualitative, method) -- quick overview of the study!
Participants in the study - Who, size, how procedure, selection
Instrumentation- Validity of instrument, reliability, interview format, observation
Collection of data
Treatment of the data - Analysis, statistical, content analysis
Hypothesis and research questions here

Be careful with "co-mingling" of versions of the dissertation!
